Signed JLC 30.mai 1862, this coastal landscape was painted by the famous Danish landscape painter Janus La Cour (1837-1909). Flowering trees and big fluffy clouds frame a large body of water and a view of distant mountains. Like most of La Cour’s paintings that we’ve seen, La Cour paints nature in it’s raw natural beauty with little or no evidence of man.
