We hope to showcase many great artists with surnames starting with the letter U. To get this section started we’ve started with the famous artists Paolo Uccello and Lesser Ury.

Uccello was a Florentine painter of the Early Renaissance. His lasting contribution to the art world is not his fine paintings but his study of perspective.

Ury was a German Impressionist who was one of the most important pastellists of the 19th Century. The world is lucky to have any examples of his work since, as a Jew, his work was among that targeted for destruction by the Nazi Regime.
